NGC 7635 – The Bubble Nebula

An H-II emission nebula in the constellation of Cassiopeia, the bubble is formed by the powerful stellar winds from a massive hot central star. It is expanding into a surrounding hydrogen cloud which is glowing in the radiation from the star. The bubble is around 4 light years across.

Planewave CDK-14 scope, FLI Proline P9000 CCD camera, Astrodon RGB and 3nm H-alpha filters.

Exposure times: Red 60min, Green 120min, Blue 140min, H-α 320min.
