NGC7000 The North America Nebula Detail

A close-up of part of the famous North America nebula (the field of view is limited by my telescope/camera combination).

This is a narrowband image presented in the less-often used SOH pallette which results in the H-α displaying in blue, which I find more appealing than green.

The stars are from a separate RGB image acquired to enable them to be displayed in their true colours.

Equipment: Planewave CDK-14, ZWO ASI6200 CMOS camera, Astrodon 3-nm filters,.

Acquisition software: ACP, MaximDL, PWI3 autofocus. Processed in PixInsight.

Exposure details: H-α 122x300s, O-III 120x300s, S-II 110x300s.
