Montage of the solar eclipse of 2015 Mar 20, photographed from Cheshire.

The eclipse was total from northern latitudes including Svalbard and the north pole itself.

On this occasion I stayed at home in Cheshire, from where the eclipse magnitude was 0.90, i.e. 81% of the solar disk was covered, causing the temperature and light levels to drop noticeably around the time of maximum eclipse.
