Southern stars above Uluru
My stay at Ayers Rock Resort in 2016 was not favoured with good weather, but I managed to capture this image of the stars of Centaurus (middle-left) and the Southern Cross (top left) above the spectacular Uluru.
The camera (Nikon D810A) has picked up many more stars than were visible to the naked eye in this 5-second f/1.4 shot at ISO 800, taken on 18 March 2016.

Summer Sky from Cheshire
On the other side of the world, the southern summer sky as seen from my home in Cheshire, England.
Saturn is above the central tree with red Antares to its lower left. The stars of Serpens are above Saturn while Ophiuchus dominates the sky to the upper left.

Winter Sky from Cheshire
With the Earth on the other side of its orbit, the same view as above shows the winter constellations dominated by Orion, his belt pointing down to Sirius at lower left, and up to the V-shaped Hyades cluster in Taurus and beyond to the Pleiades or seven sisters at upper right.
Some skyglow from local towns and villages can be seen in the southeast.
